New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Knockbox Cafe, at 35-37 Clerkenwell Road, Islington, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 26.

And Workman's Cafe, at 103 Junction Road, Islington, London was given a score of two on October 26.

It means that of Islington's 961 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 428 (45%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
