New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Nourished Communities Cafe, at Cottam House, 36-40 York Way, Islington was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 5.

And JiJi, at 6g Esther Anne Place, Islington, London was given a score of one on April 5.

It means that of Islington's 968 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 452 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
