New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Print Cafe, at Cafe Unit 160 Finsbury Business Centre, 40 Bowling Green Lane, Islington was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 20.

And Highness Cafe, at 21a-21b Highbury Park, Islington, London was also given a score of five on January 3.

It means that of Islington's 965 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 437 (45%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
