New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Wraps & Wings Limited, at 3 West Ham Lane, Stratford, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 27.

And Milamei Spot, at 2e St Johns Road, East Ham, London was also given a score of four on April 13.

It means that of Newham's 560 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 303 (54%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
