A Newham takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Le Royal Indian Takeaway And Fast Food, a takeaway at 13 Freemasons Road, Canning Town, London was given the score after assessment on October 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 308 takeaways with ratings, 124 (40%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
