A Richmond restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Roots Teddington, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 78 High Street, Teddington was given the maximum score after assessment on June 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Richmond's 486 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 343 (71%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
