New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s bad news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s bad news for them both.

Royal Ribs, at 14 Hatch Lane, Chingford was handed a zero-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 20.

And Morleys, at 12 Hoe Street, Walthamstow was also given a score of zero on October 18.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 243 takeaways with ratings, 78 (32%) have ratings of five and 20 (8%) have zero ratings.
