New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

LDF Chicken, at 249 Cann Hall Road, Leytonstone was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 3.

And Pasta Evangelists, at 160 Forest Road, Walthamstow was given a score of zero on December 3.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 246 takeaways with ratings, 76 (31%) have ratings of five and 22 (9%) have zero ratings.
