New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Fuji Sushi & Thai, at 100 Hoe Street, Walthamstow was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 11.

And Mr Chippy, at 353 High Road Leytonstone, Leytonstone was also given a score of four on January 11.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 266 takeaways with ratings, 78 (29%) have ratings of five and 15 (6%) have zero ratings.
