Marcus & Martinus are set to be stars of Eurovision this weekend and one of the twins will be hoping for the support of Chelsea fans.

Marcus & Martinus have spent months preparing for the Eurovision grand final this weekend, when they will represent host nation Sweden with their song 'Unforgettable'. However, for one of the twins, the timing is set to prove a tricky clash.

Martinus is a huge Chelsea fan, his brother a Manchester United supporter, and looks set to miss his side in action against Nottingham Forest as the duo fulfil their pre-Eurovision warm-up activities. Both of the 22-year-old twins are football lovers, playing for a third-tier side in Norway themselves, and spoke to LondonWorld to share their opinions on the season so far.

Having just arrived in the capital from Manchester, Martinus is keen to set the record straight on images of himself posing in a Red Devils top while enjoying a tour of Old Trafford. He said: "I was looking around and they were taking pictures. I held it up and they wanted me to put it on. I didn't want to tell them I was a Chelsea supporter because they had just given us free access! I thought, maybe I should but it felt so wrong."

Speaking to LondonWorld in early April, before Chelsea turned the tide in Premier League form with a series of impressive wins, Martinus shared his frustration with manager Mauricio Pochettino. He said: "Of course, he's doing something wrong. It's about the players but someone has to motivate them.

"The substitutions are so weird, Gallagher playing left wing instead of Mudryk... there's something wrong there. I still regret Thomas Tuchel being sacked. I wouldn't be surprised if Pochettino gets fired but he needs to better motivate players."

The brothers have been a singing duo since they were just 10 years old, winning the Melodi Grand Prix Junior competition in their home country of Norway - they represent Sweden this weekend having based their career in the country in recent years.

Asked which Chelsea star he might consider adding to Marcus & Martinus to make the group a trio, Martinus said: "I would probably take Noni Madueke. He's a very confident and cool player. He'd fit the vibe of the song."

Through their brand collaborations and footballing exploits, the Eurovision stars have crossed paths with some names familiar to football fans. The brothers have exchanged messages with Rasmus Hojlund - who Martinus jokes he needs to call and bring to Chelsea - and recently went through a training session with on-loan Tottenham Hotspur star Lucas Bergvall.

Marcus said: "We have some contacts and we did a thing with Adidas. He works with them as well. We did a shooting challenge with him, and we won... I scored a few bangers!

"He's great, especially for his age. He reminds me a lot of Frankie De Jong. He's 18 years old and so calm with the ball. I'm very excited to see him when he goes to Tottenham and I know Postecoglou is good with young players."
