Spurs and Newcastle United turn to £30m Fulham star after losing Adarabioyo race
Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur could turn transfer attention to Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira this summer having lost out on the race for centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo.
The 26-year-old left Craven Cottage as a free agent this summer and wasn't short of suitors with a contract appearing to have been agreed with the Magpies before the Blues swooped in with a lucrative offer to strengthen their back line. Now, transfer interest turns to one of Fulham's attacking stars in Pereira.

Three goals and seven of those assists came last season as Pereira featured in all but one of the club's Premier League games under Marco Silva, missing out on final day action against Luton Town. His consistency in recent years is now said to have tempted Premier League rivals ahead of the summer window.
Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte reports that Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Aston Villa, all hold interest in the player. It is added that Pereira is 'unlikely' to be a Fulham player at the start of next season with a £30 million offer set to be enough for the riverside club to allow negotiations.

After the title, God willing, I’ll think about my future at the club. I’ll sit down with my agent and decide my future."
Pereira still has another two years on his Fulham contract, giving the Cottagers bargaining power should any bids from the player's services come in.
