Tottenham confirmed the exit of four players today and are open to selling another talent this summer.

Tottenham are open to selling talented defender Djed Spence according to the BBC, as they continue to work around their squad for their Premier League and Europa League campaign next season.

Spence joined Leeds on loan in August, having failed to establish himself at Tottenham. There was understandable excitement regarding his arrival at Leeds, considering how much he had previously thrived in the Championship.

However, it did not work out for the 23-year-old at Elland Road. He suffered an injury early on in his Leeds career and struggled to dislodge Archie Gray when fit.

He then moved to Genoa in the winter and made 16 appearances for the Italian club, establishing himself as a key member as they finished 11th on the league table.

According to the BBC, he could be set for a permanent move to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Genoa are said to have made an approach to Tottenham about a permanent deal, with negotiations said to be ongoing. Whether or not a deal can be done will reportedly be dependent on the price, as is common in the transfer market.

Tottenham interested in Conor Gallagher

Chelsea have named their price for Conor Gallagher, with the west London club looking for at least £50million for their academy product. Spurs have been front runners for the midfielder and have already confirmed the exit of Eric Dier, Ryan Sessegnon, Japhet Tanganga and Ivan Perisic.

The exit of the four players will create space on the wage bill with Gallagher expected to earn at least £150k-a-week wage if he was to join the Lilywhites this summer. LondonWorld has been told Gallagher is high on Tottenham’s list as they look for an energetic midfielder.

With the transfer window a week away from officially being opened, Spurs have already made significant moves, confirming the extension of Timo Werner’s contract for another season.

They are expected to bring in another forward, one more midfielder and a defender to strengthen their squad ahead of what should be a pivotal second season under manager Ange Postecoglou.
