Crystal Palace face a fight on their hands to keep their star players this summer.

Days after news broke that Michael Olise is set to join Bayern Munich, it’s now emerged that Tottenham are seriously considering signing Eberechi Eze this summer. The midfielder is currently with England at the Euros but may have already played his last game for Crystal Palace.

Olise’s departure has created a void for new manager Oliver Glasner, who has not only introduced a new brand of football at the club but has also instantly improved results, winning six of their last seven games of last season. Last season, Olise scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 19 games, and it is already hard to find an adequate replacement for him.

talkSPORT now claim, the Eagles risk losing Olise’s teammate and England new boy Eze, with the midfielder having a £60 million release clause in his contract. Losing two of the best players at the club would be a significant blow, especially given how influential both were at the end of last season.

Tottenham needing fresh blood:

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is one of the Tottenham midfielders reportedly looking to leave after losing his starting spot to Pape Sarr and Rodrigo Bentancur. The Danish midfielder impressed against England at the Euros, and AC Milan are reportedly interested in him.

He said when asked about his playing time last season: “Of course, I’m not happy with what’s going on at the club. It’s not a secret, but it’s also not something I’m screaming about. I can go to bed at night knowing that I have done what I need to show the coach he has to believe in me. This is not the case at the moment, and it is the coach who has to explain why.”

The Lilywhites have already confirmed the loan signing of Timo Werner for another season and will be looking to add more players, especially with added games due to qualifying for the Europa League.
